My teaching style is built around the idea that music is for everyone. My primary goal is to help you identify and reach each individual’s musical goals. I’m here to provide the backbone of flute technique and grounding in musical theory to allow for the freedom to be musically expressive. Whether that is purely for the joy of playing for oneself or to pursue a career in music, I will help to lay out the path forward. We all learn differently and gravitate toward different styles in music. I love the versatility of the flute and the ability to use it as a tool for self expression. The flute has long been my voice, and I love watching students have those moments of revelation when it truly becomes their own.
